Dr med Sofie-Katrin Kadel

About

Dr. Sofie-Katrin Kadel obtained her medical license in 2021 from Hannover Medical School. During her studies, she earned her doctoral degree conducting research on childhood leukemia, utilizing CRISPR-Cas9. In 2022, she joined the University Hospital of Würzburg as a hematology and oncology resident, working with patients recieving immunotherapies. Since April 2024, she has been part of the Clinician Scientist Program "TWINSIGHT" at the Else Kröner Research College, investigating the pathophysiology of neurotoxicity following CAR T-cell therapy in the single-cell center under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Emmanuel Saliba.
