This year’s Fall Symposium of the Paul Martini Foundation, held in collaboration with the German National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina, took place on November 29 and 30 in Berlin. The event, titled “RNA-Based Therapies: New Drug Class, New Mechanisms of Action,” brought together leading experts in basic research, drug development, and regulatory affairs. Among the participants was Jörg Vogel, director of the Helmholtz Institute Würzburg and the Institute of Molecular Infection Biology at the University of Würzburg.
Vogel, alongside Ralf Angermund from Janssen-Cilag, co-chaired the opening session, “Fundamentals of RNA-Based Therapies.” He also gave a talk on the topic of “Anti-Infective RNA Therapy.”
