Aatreyi Roy

Aatreyi Roy obtained her MSc in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich in October 2024. During her master’s, her research focused on understanding various genetic and molecular aspects of DNA repair, de novo para- and pericentric inversions, and cell cycle across bacteria, yeast and mammalian cells. She then joined the Hör lab in November 2024 as a PhD student. Her current research focuses on studying the molecular mechanisms of host takeover by cystoviruses.
