Alexander Leipold

Alexander obtained his MSc in Biology from the University of Würzburg in 2022, focusing on microbiology and computational biology. He joined the Saliba lab in 2021 to pursue his master's thesis, receiving training in the computational analysis of single-cell multi-omics data applied to clinical data. He started his PhD in April 2022. He aims to utilize the integration of multi-modal datasets and large-scale data to elucidate the biology of infectious diseases and immunotherapeutic interventions in cancer. Besides science, Alexander enjoys playing football and having BBQs at the Main.
