Dr Anuja Kibe

Anuja Kibe obtained her PhD in Infection Biology from the Helmholtz Institute for RNA-based Infection Research (HIRI). During her PhD study, she worked on characterizing the regulation of recoding in RNA viruses and investigating the dynamically changing translational landscape in virus-infected cells. Anuja joined the Beisel lab in October 2023 and is currently working on advancing CRISPR-based gene editing tools.
