Arina Drobysheva

Arina Drobysheva obtained her MSc in Life Sciences from Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Moscow, Russia) in June 2020. During her MSc studies, she characterized the life cycles and transcriptional machineries of crAss-like phages. After continuing this project for an additional year, she worked in the industry for a while before joining the Hör lab in March 2025 as a PhD student. Her current research is aiming to identify and characterize defense mechanisms protecting bacteria against RNA phage infection.
