Dr Daniel Ryan

Daniel completed his PhD in Biotechnology from KIIT University, Bhubaneswar, India in November 2017. Previously, he worked on the role of small regulatory RNAs in the acid tolerance response and virulence programs of Salmonella Typhimurium. He joined the Westermann lab in May 2018, where he charts the unexplored world of non-coding RNAs and RNA-binding proteins in the human gut commensal Bacteroides thetaiotaomicron.
