Jakob Jeschonneck

Jakob Jeschonneck obtained his MSc in molecular medicine at the University of Regensburg in 2023. In his master’s thesis, he investigated a tumor suppressive sncRNA and characterized RNA-induced silencing complexes. In 2024, he joined the Faber lab as a PhD student within the HIRI graduate program “RNA & Infection”. In his research project, he investigates the regulatory role of a novel RNA-binding protein in Clostridioides difficile. In his free time, Jakob enjoys doing all kinds of sports, hiking in nature and playing complex board games.
