Jakob Jung
About
Jakob completed his MSc in Biotechnology with a focus on computational biology at the Wageningen University in 2019. During his Msc internship at the University of Girona, he used metagenomics data to identify bacteria associated with type 2 diabetes. He joined the Vogel lab in 2020 and is currently working on programmable, specific anti-sense oligonucleotides (ASOs) to target pathogenic microorganisms. Outside the lab he enjoys playing field hockey and reading.
