Janet Wackenreuter

About

Janet Wackenreuter obtained her MSc in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Bayreuth in 2022. During that time, she studied the role enhancer RNAs play during neurogenesis in zebrafish. In 2022, she joined the Faber lab as a PhD student within the HIRI graduate program “RNA & Infection”. Her current research focuses on investigating how non-coding RNAs regulate central virulence features in the human pathogen Clostridioides difficile.
