Julia Seidel
About
Julia Seidel completed her MSc in Biochemistry (2021–2024) at the University of Regensburg, focusing on the study of SARS-CoV-2 RNA, RNPs, and their regulatory functions. In 2022, during a research semester, she worked at the University of Colorado, Boulder (USA), investigating the stabilization of G-quadruplexes as part of telomere extension studies. Since January 2025, Julia is working as a PhD student in the Vogel group and is now investigating how antisense oligomers cross bacterial membranes and reach as well as regulate their target mRNAs.
