Leandro Buhlmann
About
Leandro Buhlmann obtained his MSc in biochemistry with a focus on molecular life science at the University of Würzburg in 2021. For his master's project, he joined a research group at the Technical University of Munich (Germany), where he established an electrochemiluminescent immunoassay (ECLIA) with the ability to specifically detect exosome bound programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1). Due to his interest in the potential of antisense oligonucleotide (ASO) application in medical treatment, he decided to join the Vogel group in 2023, where he is currently investigating the reaction of bacterial cells to ASO treatment.
