Lisa Chiggiato

Lisa obtained her MSc in Infection Biology from Uppsala University (Sweden) in 2020. She worked within the Department of Medical Microbiology at the Radboud University Medical Center (Netherlands) as a laboratory technician where she focused on investigating antivirals that reduce Dengue virus transmission in mosquitoes. In September 2022, Lisa started as a PhD student in Saliba’s group. Her project consists of investigating the tissue remodeling following a challenge with Salmonella enterica infection using single-cell RNA-seq. Outside the lab, she enjoys hiking, swimming and cycling.
