Manuela Fuchs
About
Manuela Fuchs obtained her MSc in molecular and cellular Biology at the Philipps-University Marburg (Germany) and the unit for nosocomial pathogens and antibiotic resistances of the Robert Koch Institute (Wernigerode, Germany) in 2018, after which she joined the Faber lab. Her PhD project aimed at deciphering the RNA-based mechanisms of virulence regulation in the nosocomial pathogen C. difficile by globally identifying RNA-RNA interactions facilitated by the RNA binding protein Hfq. Following her successful defense in 2023, she continued her work in the Faber lab as a postdoctoral researcher.
