Thomas Gaudin

Thomas Gaudin received his MSc in Molecular Microbiology in June 2022 from the University Paul Sabatier of Toulouse (France). For his master’s thesis, he joined Chase Beisel's team and worked on novel CRISPR nucleases, and their potential application as a diagnostic tool. After that, he decided to stay in the Beisel lab to start his PhD in August 2022. His current research focuses on the characterization of new defense systems of bacteria against their foes, the bacteriophages.
