Tristan Beste
About
Tristan Beste completed his BSc and MSc at the University of Würzburg. During his master's thesis, he specialized in fluorescence image analysis in Philip Kollmannsberger’s group at the Center for Computational and Theoretical Biology. He searched to uncover the properties of the interactions between immune cells and MCMV-infected cells in two-photon microscope images. In November 2022, he joined the Saliba lab as a graduate student. Here, his research will be focused on the interactions between the host and bacteria using spatial transcriptomics. Outside of the lab, he likes to go for walks with his dog or do all kinds of sports.
