Valentina Cosi

Valentina obtained her MSc at the Paris-Lodron-University of Salzburg (Austria) in Medical Biology with a focus on immunology. During her master’s thesis, she worked on antibody cross-reactivity of allergens via recombinant protein and monoclonal antibody production. Afterwards, she joined the Vogel group as a PhD student in May 2022 to investigate the treatment of microorganisms with antisense oligomers. She is supported by the “Dr. Eckernkamp Fellowship program” of the Würzburg-based Vogel Foundation Dr Eckernkamp. Outside the laboratory, she enjoys taking care of her numerous plants and trying dumplings from all around the world.
